Lincoln Earth Day Updates
Earth Day teams with Ignite Lincoln!
March 10th, 2011
As a part of Earth Day 2011, Ignite Lincoln wants to hear what you are doing to make our Earth and our city a little greener. The challenge is: you only have five minutes to share your idea.
Ignite Lincoln Earth Day is calling for presentations from speakers of all backgrounds to create a five-minute talk that will teach us, make us laugh, or inspire us to act. Potential topics include radical gardening, using your bike as a snow shovel, deconstructing a house, or reducing our carbon footprint.
But don’t stop there. Surprise us. Inspire our community at this year’s Lincoln Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 23rd in Antelope Park.
Here’s what we ask of you: enlighten us, but make it quick. Each presenter has 5 minutes to talk and 20 slides that automatically advance every 15 seconds.
Interested in speaking? Submit your presentation outline now. Final submission deadline is March 31st, 2011.
Keep it local. Keep it real.
